Bibi, Th Real One

To summarise I'll saywhat I have to. I was fired from my old job at the nursing home, it's fine though because I couldn't fit in there, now I'm working at a place just near my house which is nicer and better quality food. It'll be interesting at least and I feel more at home even though I'm on my second week..I guess the people treat me like I'm a friend and co-worker rather than just the guy that does every single thing with no breaks.

 

I've been tossing up whether I should actually keep a blog anymore. It seems like ther popularity and novelty has worn off and even the people who originally started to get attention are struggling cos their fans have moved to the next thing...personally I've neglected my own diary terribly this year and I only wrote this so K and M could still know what I was up to when I was travelling Australia.

 

For now I am going to continue my - Bible studying (front to back)

- work on prayer with others

-get rid of unuseable stuff in my room (Ebay and Binning) cos i need the space and my room is aching to be clean

-work on my artistic skills and draw a book (original art and story!)

-keep training with K so i can be in his movie!

-request Prayer ( I tend to be quite proud and only do this if the situation is desperate however I gotta start relying on others and God more)

Since coming to the exciting city of Melbourne from Darwin things have been none stop action.From self defence-classes at my house, trying to keep up with Bible readings, finding and getting a decent job, learning how to servive in new situations and areas...it's all so interesting!

In my there are some main characters (and I really just intended to cook for these people, not see them) that like to be in the spot light,keeping my day interseting.Tho without them i would get a break and get to rest....

Chef Nigel-all round good guy, very quiet, polite and so far respectable

Chef Frank- profesional, hardcase, picky and very fast (gives off an awkward uneasy feeling of a Corporal with a grudge)

Betty- it's easy to say that even though she's difficult...she's got a crush on me. Tends to order things not on the menu.

Muriel- came up to me today and told me that she won't eat lamb,pork,fish and I said "well that's ok cos today there's beef on the menu!" and she's all like "but i don' like!" so I made her something not on the menu

The sandwich man- my favorite character of the whole Nursing home is an old man who eats his entire meal no complaints and walks all the way to the kitchen with his wheeled frame and says "(something in italian then) eh eh sandwich sandwich" so i get him a sandwich and he's happy and walks off ..what a lovely old man!.. I mean i wish they were all that easy.

Dina-mention the word girl around her and she'll point out all the single nurses to you..while they're right there (great 2nd day @ the work place haha)

I Bibi do solemly swear not to take my new job as and aged care cook lightly.

By the way even tho I thought that I couldn't get the job I still got it, because God is good to me even though I really don't deserve it. I hope that it's because He wants me to keep my house for His use (Bible study Friday) because that's what I've been praying for but if I lost the job it would be complicated even though we'd all still survive.

 

By the way this is all I know about my shifts and working times and days so far

working Sunday to Thurday night

Friday and Saturday free

and everyday I finish at the latest 6oclock (but I have to get out of bed by 0540Hrs)

Sounds like the title of a childrens book...hopefully not the kind that ould make you ..or me cry.

Things are good back home but I get the feeling that I may miss parts of the Army, afterall it was my life for the period of a contract, haaa well gotta keep my thoughts on "now" not on the past.

I'm keeping up with my Bible readings and I'm up to Psalms 52. I'm still praying daily it seems like darwin taught me some good habits! Oh speaking of which thanks to the Youth of Darwin Chinese church for giving me oppurtunities to give input and guidance I really won't get that oppurtunity here because I'm the youngest of my Bible study and everyone seems to be a Bible school graduate, heh looks like I gotta step back and learn! Is still good good news and I'm happy.

 

so far I've found 12 online jobs very applicable to to me and 3 kinda applicable.hmm I wonder how hard it'll be to survive??

Yesterday was my final day at work...Today I start travelling back to Vic.. I'm sure I won't mke it too far before night fall but it's the next 4-5 days that will be the real journey home. I remember the last time I tried driving this far by myself and a single (well many mny actually) sunflower seed..packet...almost caused a messy accident..this time I brought *musili as a snack! HURRAH!

*Musili= also know as "the safety food" and rated least likely mix of dried fruit and grains to kill you on long distances drives.... (ref - Bibi's BIG Book of on the spot random unproven theories)

i didn't swear when I had to go back to them again ..but I wanted them to understand how inconviencing and hard it was was me to "meet them halfway" now technically for the next 2 days I'm a N.T. license holder. I'm so glad I'm not dating the N.T. Vehicle registry office "halfway" is just so hard and inconvient. Just wait till I get my VIC license back and I actually have a nice smile in my picture that'll show Darwin!

 

My removal package (a bunch of boxes I pack my gear in) still hasn't arrived... do they realise I leave on this FRIDAY??

Everytime so far when iI visit the N.T. Roads licencing place, it seems that I'm sent back because I'm , Victorian..I've seen these people at least 5 times so far and have left with nothing they have the customer service of a boiled pototoE and the predictability of a rock. I'm pretty annoyed with them but ..I'm a sucker for punishment and today I have the bank statement (why the hell do they need it??) so ...sigh 6th time lucky..wish me luck..or them depends on who gets what they want.

 

Also 3days till I drive 3800km back to vic (actually 3783km but i was rounding because I live in an outer suburb).
